Whitney Cisna is a teacher's aide in the preschool program. This is her first year as a teacher's aide with the Mahomet-Seymour School District, and she is so happy to start this new adventure! She has worked in business/human resources for the past 10 years, but is excited to get back to her passion of working in a classroom.
Whitney is originally from the Effingham, IL area, but now lives in Mahomet with her husband, four year old son, and two small dogs, Tazzy and Bella (who act more like people than pets).The family also includes a kitty named Kiwi, and a fish named Mr. Fishy.
In her spare time, Whitney loves spending time taking family walks, trying new recipes, doing crafts with her son (favorites include slime, kinetic sand, play doh, & orbeez!!), cake & cookie decorating, and reading. She is looking forward to meeting everyone at MPE and making this a fantastic school year.
