Jana Raver is a 2nd grade teacher at MPE.  Throughout her 22 years in education, she has also enjoyed teaching Kindergarten, first grade and reading intervention.  For two years she stepped out of the classroom to develop, launch and teach MPE’s Action Based Learning  (ABL) Encore class.

Mrs. Raver lives in Mahomet with her husband, Lance.  They have three daughters:  Carly, a sophomore at Ohio State, Kate, a senior at MSHS, and Shelby, a sophomore at MSHS.  They also share their home with a 4-pound Yorkie named Stella Rose.

During her free time and breaks from school, Mrs. Raver enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, exercising, reading a good mystery/thriller, teaching swimming lessons, and walking and playing fetch with Stella!

Mrs. Raver cannot wait to meet her incoming 2nd grade students and families.  She's most excited about working together as a classroom community, helping her students learn and grow, having a lot of fun along the way, and no doubt-- creating once-in-a-lifetime memories!
