Anna Nelson loves being a first grade teacher at MPE! She is originally from Champaign and currently lives in Normal. She graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. This will be her sixth-year teaching and has been teaching first grade in Mahomet for the past four years.
Miss Nelson has a younger sister named Rachel that just graduated from the University of Illinois and an older brother named Jordan that just moved to Washington, DC. She has two adorable little dogs named Milo and Lola back at home with her parents in Savoy.
When Miss Nelson is not teaching, she likes to exercise, shop, and spend time with her friends and family. She enjoys being outdoors in the summertime riding her bike and taking walks, but she cannot wait to get back to school and meet her new students for this school year! Go Bulldogs!!
