Julie Henry will begin her twentieth year of teaching this school year.  Julie has taught in Atlanta, Champaign and Mahomet.  She's worked with kindergarteners through fifth graders throughout her career.

Julie's favorite part of teaching, hands down, is building relationships with her students and their families.  She loves teaching in the community where she is also raising a family.
Julie is married to Marshall, a Champaign police officer.  Julie and Marshall have three sons, Parker (seventh grade), Owen (5th grade), and Graham (third grade).  The boys all love sports (fishing, baseball, basketball, and soccer) and their parents love watching them play.  The Henrys also have an obsession with their goldendoodle, Fuzz E. Henry.

You may see Julie running (or shuffling, as she sometimes calls it) through the streets of Mahomet.  In addition to running, her hobbies include laying by the pool, shopping at Target and hanging out with her family and friends.

Julie loves the excitement the beginning of the school year brings!  She can't wait to see all of her old friends (students and staff) and meet new ones!
