Janna Birge is so excited to be the new kindergarten teacher at Middletown Prairie! This is her 15th year teaching. She has taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in Champaign schools then took a few years off to stay home with her youngest son.
Janna has been married to her husband, Dennis for 17 years. They live in Mahomet with their four children. Cainan is a junior in high school, Kiera is in 8th grade, Ellie is in 3rd grade and Ivan is starting kindergarten this year! They all attend Mahomet schools. Jewel and Chloe, their 2 year old teddy bear puppies, are also a huge part of the family.
Mrs. Birge enjoys spending time with her family, playing outside, watching movies, and shopping. She is so excited to get to know her new students and knows it’s going to be a great year!
