Cindy Krumwiede is beginning her 26th year teaching. She grew up in Central Illinois and graduated from Eastern IL University. She started her career at “Old Middletown” as a Pre-k Special Educator and a Birth to 3 Interventionist before landing in kindergarten. After 17 years of teaching kindergarten, Mrs. Krumwiede can’t imagine teaching any other grade or in any other school district.

When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Krumwiede enjoys spending time with her family. She is a life long Cubs fan and enjoys going to baseball games, traveling, trying new restaurants, and chilling on a beach with a good book. She and her husband have a daughter, Erin, who is a junior at the University of Mississippi. They also have a new addition to their family, an energetic puppy, “Olive” who loves to play frisbee, chew sticks, and play with other puppies.

Mrs. Krumwiede can't wait to meet her students!
