
The Freshmen Mentors enjoyed meeting their freshmen. We are all excited to welcome the class of 2023 again on Friday!




There will be an informational meeting on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. for all girls interested in Girls Swim. The meeting will be held in the high school Library and all participants and parents are encouraged to attend.

The Girls Tennis pre-seaon player and parent meeting will be held on Thursday August 15 at 4:00 p.m. in the high school library. For additional information, please contact Girls Tennis Coach Alex Amatyleon at alexamatyleon@yahoo.com.

Any girls interested in trying out for the Girls Tennis Team, try-outs will be held at the Campus Rec Courts at 1st and Stadium on 8/14 Bus depart time is 4p from the high school Try-outs are from 4:30p - 5:30p and the bus will return to the high school at approxamately 6p

Good afternoon!! The halls of M-SHS are quiet now, but Monday August 12 is the first day that fall sports can begin practice. Please remember that students will be allowed to practice or try-out unless they are registered on 8to18 and have a valid sports physical on file.

FMP enjoyed another evening of planning for the class of ‘23. We took a break for some food and fun too. We are all excited to meet our freshmen. Thanks to Isaac Bushue (‘17) for being our alum speaker.

As a reminder, beginning at 6:00p tonight (8/7)
M- SHS will host an evening dedicated to Health and Wellness. Tonight will feature sessions focusing on using sports and activities to build character and accountability, the proper nutrition and hydration for student/athletes, and tools for helping students to cope with the stress and pressure. All M-SHS parents and students are invited to attend.

Mahomet - Seymour High School is looking for qualified individuals to apply for the postion of Boys Junior Varsity Soccer Coach for the Fall 2019 season. Interested persons should contact Matt Hensley, Athletic Director at mhensley@ms.k12.il.us for additional information.

Colorguard finished their week of guard camp and now they are on to band camp! It’s going to be a great season!
