Jana Raver is excited to kick off her second year in “Action Based Learning,” an amazing brain science-based course added to the MPE Encore schedule last year that combines physical movements with academic content!

Throughout her 20 years in education, Mrs. Raver has taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and reading intervention. This will be her 7th year in the Mahomet-Seymour school district.

Mrs. Raver lives in Mahomet with her husband, Lance, and their daughters Carly (17,) Kate (15,) Shelby (13)… and Stella Rose (the Yorkie—2.)

During her free time and breaks from school, Mrs. Raver enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, exercising, reading a good mystery/thriller, teaching swimming lessons, and walking and playing fetch with Stella!

She’s looking forward to meeting the incoming Kindergartners, and catching up with the first and second graders in ABL!
